Get Involved

BCDINashville has two major upcoming events this spring and summer. On Friday, May 15, 2026, they are hosting "A Day Without Child Care" from 9:00 AM–12:00 PM on Capitol Hill (600 Martin L King Blvd, Nashville), where community members are invited to raise awareness about the critical role childcare plays in supporting families and the local economy. Then on June 27, 2026, the inaugural Men of BCDINashville gathering will take place at Beech Creek Missionary Baptist Church at 9:00 AM, bringing men together to get involved with the organization's mission.

On the youth education front, BCDINashville will launch its first-ever Camp STEAM Summer Experience running Monday, June 15 through Friday, June 26, 2026 — a free two-week camp for children ages 4–8 focused on Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math, including robotics and 3D printing, with only 30 spots available on a first-come basis. The newsletter also highlights two Tennessee legislative bills to watch (HB2485/SB2385 and HB2532/SB2247) that impact public school funding, and calls on members to join one of five committees — Childcare Providers, Early Childhood Education, Fundraising, Policy, or Social Media/Branding — by emailing info@bcdinashville.org.

For more information on whats going on at BCDI Nashville go to our events page and download the newsletter or signup and have the newsletter emailed to you every month.

We are currently hiring to fill position needed for the camp. Click the Job Description below for more details. If you would like to apply for a position click this link  or scan the QR code to fill out the application.
